JOIN US! If you are looking to improve your eating habits, this six week nutrition challenge is for you. We will focus on teaching you how to improve your day-to-day eating habits and overall lifestyle choices. This isn’t a diet, it’s a lifestyle! Participants will have a different goal to build upon each week, including; monitoring sugar intake, meeting water intake needs, cooking meals at home/meal prep, eating yo veggies, substituting oils and fatty foods for better choices, and even substituting meat for different proteins.
So how does it work?
This challenge will be based on a point system. These points will be recorded in a spreadsheet that will be sent to you weekly, in which you will document your daily points earned. Here’s how you’ll track your points:
- DAILY: worth 1 point each and will include things like eating the proper amount of calories for your goals and drinking enough water
- BONUS: worth 1 point and will include things like exercising, acts of kindness, and getting at least 7 hours of sleep
- WEEKLY GOALS: worth 5 points and will include limiting sugar intake, preparing meals at home, and substituting meat for other foods such as fish/beans etc.
Each week you’ll receive an email to document your points and log your weight.
This challenge starts on Monday, June 24th and we’ll be kicking off the challenge with three short videos about what it means to be a healthier version of yourself to help get you started. In addition, you’ll receive a one page document each week with helpful tips and tricks for incorporating nutrition into your life.
The challenge is open to everyone. CFCG Members will pay $15, and non-members will pay $60 which includes a 30 day CFCG Membership. (The membership must start during the timeframe of the challenge.) A winner will be determined by both the points system and start to end weight change. The winner will receive a cash prize!
