What is CrossFit? And is it for me?
CrossFit simply put is functional fitness. We use constantly varied forms of high intensity exercises that include Olympic lifts, gymnastics, cardio, and more to improve strength, balance, health, posture, and flexibility. Every movement can be scaled or modified to accommodate people of any fitness level.
We are firm believers that people of any ability level can do CrossFit, but if you don’t like working out in a group, or can’t commit to coming to class times, it may not be the best fit.
Do I need to get in shape to do CrossFit?
HECK NO. Limitless Performance & Therapy has members of all ages and ability levels. We don’t care if you’ve never worked out in your life or if you’re a seasoned athlete. Our coaches will show you modifications as needed and work with you to make the workout challenging and rewarding for your current fitness level.
What should I wear/bring?
We suggest you wear something comfortable that you don’t mind sweating in. For shoes we suggest you wear a flat soled athletic shoe. Bring a water bottle and a towel if you plan to use the on-site showers.
Where can I find the Workout of the Day (WOD)?
All workouts are posted around 8pm the night prior on our website under the WOD page and all our social media accounts:

Facebook: Limitless Performance & Therapy
What’s different about Limitless Performance & Therapy?
You are welcome from the moment you walk in the doors. CFCG has an extremely supportive community of members and coaches who all want you to see your own version of success, whether it’s weight loss, getting stronger, competing in CrossFit competitions, or just leading a healthier, more active life.
What does the Limitless facility offer?
Within the 2 stories and 8,000 square feet of Limitless you’ll find yoga, physical therapy, CrossFit, and a registered dietitian. The facility has men’s and women’s locker rooms, each with its own shower.
Is there a beginner’s course?
Heck yes. If you’re new to CrossFit we encourage you to take a FREE class so you can see what it’s like. From there you’ll take (2) 60-minute small group Foundations classes with a highly experienced coach. In Foundations you’ll get the breakdown of all the movements we use, how to modify or scale certain movements to your current fitness level, and go over important safety cues.
What’s after Foundations?
We are so glad you asked! Once you’ve completed Foundations you can jump into regular class. BUT… that doesn’t mean we expect you to be a CrossFit expert. You may still have questions like “what’s the difference between a push-jerk and a push-press again?” or “can you remind me what a snatch is?”. We’ve all been the new guy at some point and no one is going to think twice about you asking a question we’ve all asked one time or another.
CrossFit Classes vs. Open Gym times
If you look at our schedule, you’ll see that we have “CrossFit” and “Open Gym” classes. There is always a programmed WOD for each day. During the CrossFit classes, everyone will be doing the programmed WOD (unless you need a modification for something). During Open Gym, you have the option to do the programmed WOD, work on a skill you’d like to master, or create your own WOD.
